Introducing Lily Goat - a delicious goat’s cheese made in Western Victoria, Australia.
Nestled between the iconic Mount Noorat and Mount Elephant in Victoria’s famed Western District is our milking goat farm.
This is a place of big skies, long views with volcanic rises that punctuate the horizon.
The Lily Goat farm features soil characteristics influenced by their volcanic origins. Soils are fertile, shallow reddish-brown to black loams and clays suitable for grazing and cropping.
The delicate goat milk is transported only 20 minutes to Mortlake, where it is converted into cheese by a third generation French cheesemaker. A shorter transport distance contributes to a smaller carbon footprint for the milk.
